Netflix exec Jinny Howe, head of U.S. and Canada scripted series, has been confirmed as the year's first confirmed keynote speaker at the Banff World Media Festival in Alberta. The festival, part of the 47th annual event, will take place from June 14 to 17 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. Howe, who has been with Netflix since 2018, previously served as vice president of drama series and oversaw series such as "Beef," "Bridgerton," and "The Night Agent."
