The resolution criticizes Wasserman's association with Jeffrey Epstein and convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell decades ago. Despite this, LA28 seems unaffected by the controversy and insists that its focus is on delivering a fiscally responsible, privately funded Games that protect taxpayers and benefit Los Angeles. Despite the controversy, the LA City Council plans to oust Wasserman from the $7.7 billion and growing games.
