Dr. Leonard Weiss, associate professor of emergency medicine at UPMC and medical director for Pittsburgh Public Safety, has informed doctors at the University of Pittsburgh (UPMC) that they are preparing for the NFL draft in Pittsburgh. They plan to have five field hospitals around the city, with the main location being in Point State Park. The main facilities will be located at the draft theater and Acrisure Stadium, while public safety officials and staff will be present in Market Square and the Strip District. Field hospitals will be set up at several locations, with one being located in the Draft Theater and another in the ADRISURE STADIUM. For expectant mothers, arrangements will be made to ensure their health and care, but doctors have advised them to stay near downtown but to remain cautious about closures and traffic patterns.
