Ronald Nored returns to Butler as head basketball coach

Ronald Nored, a Butler University graduate who helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back NCAA championship game appearances as a point guard, has been appointed as head coach of the men’s basketball program at his alma mater. Nored was the starting point guard for coach Brad Stevens during the Bulldogs' historic runs to the 2010 and 2011 national championship games. He was named the top scorer in games played (103), postseason games (16), and steals (207). His 497 career assists rank third in program history. His NBA coaching career began in 2013 with the Boston Celtics and has since served on coaching staff with multiple NBA franchises.
