A Newark firefighter was hospitalised after a three-alarm fire broke out at a vacant hotel, causing a non-life-threatening injury. The building, which has been slated for redevelopment, is under investigation by the city's Arson Unit. This follows a fire that injured six firefighters and displaced nearly 60 residents earlier in the day.
