A 20-year-old Scottsdale canal cold case has been solved after a teenager's body was pulled from an SRP canal in 2005. New technology led investigators to a new lead in the case, revealing that the victim is Native American of Pima descent. The victim had no identifying markers on his body or an ID, and was only identified through a cloth-type cross-shaped necklace. Police are asking anyone with ancestry connected to the Salt River Pima Indian community to upload their DNA profiles to help solve this case.
