This move follows Steak ’n Shake's previous efforts to become more health conscious, including replacing vegetable oils with beef tallow for frying. The CEO, Sardar Biglari, believes Boes's experience as a strong advocate for the movement is ideal for a fast food chain. The company is also exploring whether this aligns itself with the movement as a business model.
