R&A in 'ongoing dialogue' with Muirfield over Open Championship return

The Royal & Irish Football Association (R&A) is in "ongoing dialogue" with Muirfield to return the Open Championship to the Gullane course. However, Chief Executive Mark Darbon acknowledges there are challenges ahead, including challenges in staging a modern Open. Royal Lytham & St Annes is set to host the Open in 2028.
