Mother, son sentenced in connection with murder of Euclid man in Willoughby

A mother and son have been sentenced in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old Euclid man in Willoughby, Ohio. Damonte Perry was fatally shot on Sept. 15, 2025, and died from his injuries at University Hospitals. Six individuals were identified, arrested, and charged in relation to the homicide. Carla Farona, 48, pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and was sentenced to 36 months in prison. Her son, Christopher Farona was charged with multiple counts, including aggravated murder, and was found guilty on all counts. Three individuals remain in custody without bond awaiting trial.
