Two Rangers to miss time with injuries: ‘going to be week to week’

The Rangers are dealing with injuries to players Noah Laba and Urho Vaakanainen, who are week to week with lower- and upper-body injuries respectively. Both players left the game early and did not travel with the team to Columbus. Head coach Mike Sullivan stated that neither player nor would need to be placed on injured reserve. This has led to constant shuffling among the team, with J.T. Miller moving up to the third line and Taylor Raddysh being moved to the line with Vincent Trocheck and Will Cuylle. The injuries have further exacerbated the team's injury woes this season.
