A Brinks security guard was shot during an apparent robbery at a Bank of America ATM in Conroe, Texas, on March 23. The victim, identified as a 59-year-old man from Spring, remains in critical condition and undergoing surgery. The suspected gunman later died after attempting to self-destruct during a traffic stop. Police began tracking stolen money boxes using 3SI tracking technology and located the suspect vehicle before he shot himself in the head. The identity of the shooter has not been disclosed.
