A new scam disguised as a routine CAPTCHA has been identified as a "ClickFix" attack, which involves users unknowingly giving over access to their device. The scam typically involves a series of keyboard steps and instructs users to press Windows (or perhaps Command, if using a Mac) + R, then Ctrl + V, then Enter, allowing hackers to access the device. Experts suggest that this tactic is effective as CAPTCHAs have become more routine.
