West Haven Mayor Dorinda Borer held the inaugural meeting of the Charter Revision Commission, which aims to modernize the city's governing document. The commission will review outdated government processes, roles, authority, and accountability. Borer also highlighted the potential transition from two-to-four-year mayoral terms to attract top-level talent. The Commission must complete its work within a six-month period to meet the Sept. 3 deadline for filing referendum questions.
