President Donald Trump has publicly criticized UK Prime Minister Kiermer and Spain over their stances on the recent U.S. strikes in Iran. Speaking to reporters, Trump stated that Spain has been "terrible" and warned Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to cut off all dealings with Spain. He also criticized Spain's refusal to increase their defense spending and refusal to allow the U.N. to use their bases during the Iran war. The president also expressed surprise at the UK's decision to give up the Chagos Islands, which he said was uncooperative.
