U.S. stocks and bonds fell and oil prices surged amid concerns about potential peace talks or a U.S.-Iran ceasefire. The price of crude oil rose to $95 per barrel, up more than 4.2%, and international Brent crude rose 4.5%, to more than $107 per barrel. These concerns have been attributed to Iran's rejection of U.K. President Donald Trump also commented on social media that talks with Iran were not progressing. S&P 500 futures and Dow futures were expected to fall over 400 points. Bonds also sold off, leading to a rise in Treasury bond yields.
