Shohei Ohtani is the show again in Japan for the World Baseball Classic

Shohei Ohtani is the star of the World Baseball Classic in Japan for the Group C games, where Japan is expected to secure one of the two spots for the quarterfinals in the United States. His presence is seen all over the Tokyo Dome and racks of OhTani jerseys are displayed. The team is set to begin play against Taiwan on Friday, with South Korea, Australia, and the Czech Republic also in the group. Japan is a strong contender for the title, with a powerful batting lineup led by Ohotani and other MLB big hitters. However, Mike Trout will not be playing for this time due to insurance issues.
