In an Instagram story, Melton stated that comments she made regarding a private matter were taken out of context and that her ex-boyfriend was not a cheater. This follows allegations that Melton was on dating app, Raya, before their relationship ended. The couple had first announced their relationship in July 2024. This comes as Pulizic's personal life is under scrutiny as he prepares for the World Cup, which will take place in North America in June.
