Pittsburgh is planning to introduce a regional transportation plan for the NFL Draft, which will allow hundreds of thousands of people to converge on the North Shore and Downtown during the event on April 23-25. The region is adjusting transit service, closing roads and explaining the best pedestrian and bike paths to use. Pittsburgh Regional Transit will add four Draft Flyer temporary routes to help get people from the suburbs to the North shore easily and run more frequently. Most bus service will run on the less frequent Saturday schedule, except P1, G2 and 54 bus routes. The pedestrian path on Fort Duquesne Bridge will be closed during the draft for safety reasons. The NFL will announce designated Uber and Lyft pickup and dropoff locations closer to the draft.
