Police have arrested 22-year-old John Pierce for allegedly shooting and injuring 37 year old Jeremiah Olmantic. The incident occurred near the 1100 block of State Highway 146 in Texas City. Olmatic was taken to a local hospital and remains in a stable condition. Police have not disclosed a possible motive for the shooting.
