Italy has extradited an alleged Chinese hacker, Xu Zewei, to the US for allegedly stealing vaccine research during the COVID-19 pandemic. The suspect was arrested in Milan in July and faces nine criminal counts including wire fraud and conspiracy to obtain information by unauthorised access to protected computers.
