Cannes 2026 Movies: Competition Lineup, Special Screenings

Cannes Film Festival Director Thierry Frémaux is set to announce this year's lineup at a press conference in Paris. Pierre Salvadori's The Electric Kiss (La Vénus électrique) has already been announced as the opening title. John Travolta's directorial debut, Propeller One-Way, will also be screened at the festival before its release on Apple TV on May 29. The film is inspired by the 1997 kids' book of the same name and will be part of the festival's Premiere Selection.
