The United States House of Representatives has approved a $10 million grant to Dallas-area public transit system. The grant is the second largest among the World Cup's U.S. host cities, just shy of the New York-Jersey City-Newark metro's $10.3 million. The funds will be used for public transportation planning and operating expenses during the tournament.
