Sean McDermott, the former head coach of the Buffalo Bills, has been focusing on his family life and studying and researching outside of football to prepare for a return to coaching. He has also spoken to Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and legendary wrestling coach Dan Gable about their experiences in their sports. McDermott plans to speak to William & Mary chancellor Robert Gates and attend leadership conferences in other spheres as part of his preparation for his return to the coaching scene. He believes that "growing and evolving" is a healthy and productive process that could potentially lead him to a successful future in football.
