Hampton Bays Woman Charged With Felony DWI After Driving While Intoxicated With Child, 2, In Vehicle: PD

A woman from Hampton Bays, Lina M. Lopez-Alvarez, 35, has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony under Leandra's Law, endangering the welfare of a child, and several other charges. The arrest occurred on the same day as an officer on patrol observed a 2023 Toyota traveling westbound on County Road 39 near North Road, speeding and failing to signal for a turn.
