Longtime Clay County commissioner not seeking reelection

Clay County Commissioner Kevin Campbell, who has served 35 years, plans to retire at the end of this year and his term will end in 2026. Campbell has served on the Clay County Board of Commissioners and 11 years on the Oakport Township Board. He represented Clay County District 4, which includes parts of north Moorhead and Oakport. Despite some of his projects yet to be completed, Campbell decided it was time for someone new to take his seat.
