Deveon Latrell Cole, a 22-year-old man from Pontiac, is accused of stabbing his father's girlfriend, Monique Sherrie Taylor, 57, to death. The attack occurred around midnight Friday into Saturday at a home in the 30 block of North Roselawn Street in Pontiac. The victim was found lying on a bedroom floor with injuries to her torso, arms, and hands. Cole was taken into custody without further incident and is being held without bond at the Oakland County Jail.
