The PurpleStride Cincinnati walk is set to raise money for pancreatic cancer research during the event, which benefits PanCAN, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Two sisters, Barb Thornton and Mary Reike, are inviting the community to participate. They believe the walk helps to show people there is hope and they are not alone by showing awareness of the disease. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25 at the East Fork State Park Beach in Cincinnati.
