Shattered showers and thunderstorms have occurred across New Mexico, with large hail and strong wind gusts being the main threats. The highest risk of severe weather is expected to be in southeastern New Mexico. The state will be drier and windier by Sunday, with gusts of 30 to 50 mph possible in parts of the state. A Pacific cold front will also bring cooler temperatures and may bring rain and potential for snowfall. The warmer weather will continue throughout the week.
