Walt Disney World is being sued in a lawsuit alleging that the resort was infested with bedbugs at its All-Star Sports Resort in 2022. The lawsuit, filed by David Besse, alleges that Disney failed to inspect its hotel rooms and take necessary steps to prevent bedbugs. Besse is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for injuries, including scarring, bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, and loss of the capacity for the enjoyment of life. The complaint alleges that bedbugs are small, wingless insects that feed on blood from humans and other animals. Disney has been working on refurbishing the All-star Resorts, with ongoing work set to begin in late 2026.
