Hamilton man charged with shooting man, dog in hunting incident

A Hamilton man, Michael Griffis, has been charged with negligent use of a firearm and causing property damage after allegedly shooting another person and their dog with birdshot pellets during a hunting incident in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County. The victim, identified as Gerald Quarino, sustained non-life-threatening injuries to the leg. The charges were filed with Kingwood Municipal Court.
