NJ school district responds after teen is arrested in child exploitation case allegedly tied to AI-generated images

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in Montgomery Township, New Jersey, after New Jersey State Police executed a search warrant tied to a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The suspect is charged with distribution of child sexual exploitation and abuse material, possession of child pornography, and cyber harassment. The Montgomery Township School District has responded to the situation by sending a letter to families expressing concerns about the misuse of artificial intelligence for creating inappropriate images of students.
