Two South Florida food establishments, Pizzeria Magaddino and Sasaya Japanese Market, both received perfect scores during routine food safety inspections by the state of Florida. The pizzeria, located inside Gulfstream Brewing Company in Fort Lauderdale, had zero violations during its most recent inspection and received a Local 10 Clean Plate award. The restaurant also won the judges' award for Best Bite at the Visit Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival. Local 10 investigator Jeff Weinsier praised the restaurant's small staff for keeping the kitchen running smoothly and maintaining cleanliness. The second award went to Sasaya's sushi counter, which also received zero violations in August 2025.
