Spring thunderstorms are expected to build across western Oregon during the afternoon hours of Friday, with temperatures expected to remain above average with highs in the low 70s. The storms will move to the northwest before moving into the greater Portland/Vancouver area. No severe weather is expected, but potential hail, gusty winds, and soaking rains are possible with some of the stronger storms. Rainfall could reach an inch to two inches. The wetter weather will cool Portland area temperatures down to near average conditions.
