Spain's cabinet passes $5.8 billion economic support package to counter Iran war impact

Spain's cabinet has approved 80 measures, split into two packages, totalling €5.8 billion, to counter the effects of the Middle East conflict. The measures, which require approval from Congress, include support for the most vulnerable and a reduction in taxes on electricity by up to 60%. The measures will also provide cost savings for industries with high energy use.
