UNLV women’s basketball loses Lindy La Rocque’s top assistant

Roman Owen, a member of Lindy La Rocque's original staff with the UNLV women's basketball program, is leaving to become a head coach. Owen will be the next coach of Quinnipiac's women’s basketball team, replacing Tricia Fabbri who announced her retirement earlier this month. In the last six seasons, Owen helped UNLV become a force in the Mountain West, winning four regular-season titles and three conference tournament championship trophies.
