Don Mancini, creator of the Child's Play franchise, has announced plans to bring Chucky back from the grave nearly two years after the Syfy show was canceled. The new movie will continue to be a continuation of the Cult of Chucky series, which will end in 2021. Mancin plans to return to the director's chair for the sequel. Despite the show's cancellation, Mancinit has continued to tease Chucky's onscreen future amid a fan campaign.
