State Patrol plane damaged in crash at St. Paul airport

A Minnesota State Patrol plane was involved in a crash at the St. Paul Downtown Airport, causing significant damage to its landing gear and front propeller. No injuries were reported. The Metropolitan Airports Commission closed the airfield around 6:30 a.m. for the removal of the damaged plane. The National Transportation Safety Board has been notified about the accident.
