St. Catherine’s boys basketball dominates Seymour for Division 3 State title

Racine St. Catherine’s boys basketball team dominated Seymour for the Division 3 State title, beating top-seeded Seymour 61-41. The Angels forced 17 turnovers and turned them into 26 points, taking control against a Seymour team that entered 28-1. Lamont Hamilton, the program’S all-time leading scorer and senior, scored 26 points and seven rebounds, while AC Contreras Ward added 12 points and four rebounds for St Catherine's. The team also had 10 steals and assisted on 10 baskets. Kyler Marks led Seymour with 13 points and 11 rebounds, Isaac Feske added 10 points. St Catherine added a WIAA Division 3 boys basketball state title to the football crown they won in 2024.
