A Utah couple is facing a federal felony of International Parental Kidnapping for unlawfully transporting a 10-year-old child from the United States to Cuba. Rose Inessa-Ethington and Blue Inessa, aka Carly Ann Crosby, were deported from Cuba into the custody of the United states earlier this week. The child was reunited with their biological mother, who was granted exclusive custody. The couple had been planning to take the child to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for a camping trip but had not been heard from since March 28. There were concerns that the child was transported to Cuba for gender reassignment surgery prior to puberty.
