Dad, 55, Drowns Saving Son with Autism from Lake After Teen Wandered into Water

Juan Andrade, a father who drowned saving his teenage son, who wandered into a lake at a park in Los Angeles, California, on April 14. The boy, who has autism, was pulled from the water by the Los Angeles Fire Department but became trapped in the fountain area of the lake. Juan Andrade then jumped in to save his son, but was found at the bottom of the water and transported to a nearby hospital where he died. A GoFundMe has been established to support Michelle and her children after Juan's death. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident.
