KnKnicks free throw shooter and defensive anchor Mitchell Robinson has responded to the Hawks' "Hack-a-Mitch" strategy, which involves intentionally fouling teams in an effort to force a substitution. Robinson, who shot 40% from the foul line this season, is confident that his work will pay off after a steep drop-off from last year's injury-shortened season. Head coach Mike Brown has insisted that he will give Robinson an opportunity to make free throws when intentionally fouled before pulling him from a game in the playoffs. Robinson also commented on an uptick in lob passes thrown towards him from Jordan Clarkson, who has only passed the ball to Landry Shamet more times than he has passed to Robinson (4). The Knicks are expecting a large contingent of fans from Atlanta or plan to fly into the city for the playoffs during their road games at State Farm Arena in the first round.
