The National Weather Service in New York has issued a timeline for thunderstorms across southern Connecticut, with a line of showers expected late this afternoon into the evening. Additional isolated thunderstorms are also possible in southern Connecticut. Today will be warm, with high temperatures reaching around 70 degrees, but then Thursday will be much colder, with temperatures mainly in the 40s. The National Weather Services in Boston also predicts several chances for rain throughout the week. After Thursday's cool down, Friday is expected to get warm again, with cloudy skies and temperatures in the low to mid 60s. For the weekend, expect daytime temperatures to reach into the 60s on Saturday and Sunday.
