Patriots rookie TE Eli Raridon: ‘I can make explosive plays with the ball in my hands’

The New England Patriots drafted Notre Dame tight end Eli Raridon late in the third round at 95th overall, highlighting his versatility and ability to play both passing and blocking. Despite a history of injury, including two torn ACLs, Raridid's selection by the Patriots does not concern them. He has modeled his game after 49ers tight end George Kittle. The 6-foot-6, 245-pounder caught 32 passes for 482 yards and no touchdowns at Notre Dame last season and is likely to impact the run game with his blocking.
