NASA’s Mobile Launcher Rolls Ahead of Artemis III Preparation - NASA

After the end of NASA's Artemis II test flight, teams at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida are shifting focus to preparing for Artemis III. The mobile launcher has been transported from Launch Complex 39B to the Kennedy Vehicle Assembly Building in preparation for rocket stacking operations. Once it returns, teams will continue to perform additional checkouts, inspections and data analysis, and begin repairing damaged equipment. The move is part of an effort to prevent further damage from the 8.8 million pounds of thrust expelled at booster ignition.
