The Indiana Arts Commission has announced $60,000 in grants to 12 organizations across the state as part of the America250 initiative. Each organization will receive $5,000 through the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission's America250 grant initiative. The grants aim to connect participants with American history in preparation for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The selection process was highly competitive, with over 100 applications received. The selected programs will be held in 2026. The National Endowment for the Arts and the Indiana General Assembly are funding these grants.
