Cleveland's airport saw a 1.5% increase in passenger traffic in March, with 898,471 passengers traveling through the same month as the previous year. Despite this, the airport has served 2.2 million passengers year-end, a 1% decrease from last year. The airport is preparing for a busy summer season with several airlines set to launch new routes, including Air Canada and Avelo Airlines. The expansion of the airport's Transportation Security Administration screening areas is expected to help alleviate congestion during the busy summer travel season.
