Google’s ‘live’ AI search assistant can handle conversations in dozens more languages

Google is expanding access to its AI search assistant, Search Live, which allows users to search for information using their voice and camera. The feature has been expanded to more than 200 countries and territories, with new Gemini 3.1 Flash Live audio-focused AI model being "inherently multilingual". The new model also offers improvements to its responses and offers more natural conversations. In addition, Google is expanding Translate's real-time translation feature to iOS users.
