The San Francisco Giants defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-0 in a low-scoring game, thanks to Patrick Bailey's three-run homer off reliever Jack Dreyer in the seventh. Tyler Mahle also pitched seven innings and managed to secure a four-hitter, giving the Giants a second consecutive win over the two-time defending champs. The Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani was pulled after six innings, ending his 53 straight games of reaching base safely. Despite this, the Giants managed to score three or fewer runs for the 16th time this season.
