OpenAI ends Disney partnership as it closes Sora video-making tool

OpenAI has ended its artificial intelligence (AI) video-generation app, Sora, less than two years after its launch and will also discontinue its content partnership with Disney. The company cited concerns about copyright violations and the threat it posed to the media industry. However, a spokesperson for The Walt Disney Company stated they respect OpenAI's decision to discontinue the service.
