Hyundai's IONIQ 3, set to debut during Milan Design Week, has been spotted racing down the streets of South Korea. The car is set to arrive as a sibling to the ION IQ 5 and Hyundai's first compact EV from the series. The concept car was previewed at the Munich Motor Show and featured a new design with a sleek “Aero Hatch” silhouette and a ducktail spoiler. Despite borrowing from Hyundai's other vehicles, the IONSIQ 3 still includes some signature design elements such as Parametric Pixel lights. It is expected to be available with similar battery pack options as the Kia EV3 and EV4, with a WLTP range of up to 391 miles (630 km). Production will begin in mid-2026.
